On Tap at Dale 1891 Tampa: Palm Amber

Palm Amber Belgium on draft at Dale 1891 Tampa Florida PALM Ale has long been one of Europe’s top-selling specialty beers and when you taste it, we think you will know why. Made with English hops, French Barley, and Belgian yeast, PALM represents the best of European beer-making traditions. It’s the roasted Champagne Malt which gives PALM its amber color, but without being heavy. PALM is a great alternative to traditional pilsners and lagers for the beer drinker looking for something a little different.

Noted beer writer Michael Jackson described PALM Speciale as “exceptionally fresh, with aromas of toasty malt, a bitter-orange palate and a tartly refreshing finish.”

Style: Belgian Pale Ale  ABV: 5.40%

On Tap at Dale 1891 Tampa: Bells' Two Hearted Ale

Bells Two Hearted Ale, now on Tap at Dale 1891 Gastro Pub Tampa

Two Hearted Ale is defined by its intense hop aroma and malt balance. Hopped exclusively with the Centennial hop varietal from the Pacific Northwest, massive additions in the kettle and again in the fermenter lend their characteristic grapefruit and pine resin aromas. A significant malt body balances this hop presence; together with the signature fruity aromas of Bell's house yeast, this leads to a remarkably drinkable American-style India Pale Ale. -Bells Brewery

This beer is a great beer for Florida, mixing the crispness of an IPA with the maltynes of an English style Ale. It has a nice aroma, and reasonable ABV at 7% to keep things interesting. A new favorite tap here at Dale 1891.

On Tap at Dale 1891 Tampa: Dead Guy Ale from Rogue Breweries

Rogue Dead Guy Ale, now on Tap at Dale 1891 Gastro Pub, Tampa

Rogue's  Dead Guy Ale is now on Tap at Dale 1891. In style similar to a Maibock this excellent Ale is guaranteed to make you Grateful for having tried it.

Style | ABV
Maibock / Helles Bock |  6.50% ABV

"In the early 1990s Dead Guy Ale was created as a private tap sticker to celebrate the Mayan Day of the Dead (November 1st, All Souls Day) for Casa U Betcha in Portland, Oregon. The Dead Guy design proved so popular with consumers and especially Grateful Dead fans, that we made it the label for our Maierbock ale. Even though the association with the Grateful Dead band is pure coincidence, we have gratefully dedicated Dead Guy Ale to the Rogue in each of us." - Rogue Breweries

Blue Point RastafaRye Ale at Dale 1891

Blue Point Rastafa Rye beer now at Dale 1891. A hearty rye malt, blended with fresh West Coast hops resulting in a delicious, deep copper ale with just the right amount of rye flavor to offset the spicy, floral characteristics of the hops. The Blue Point Brewing Company donates a portion of all RastafaRye Ale sales to They Often Cry Outreach (TOCO) a Taj Weekes charity foundation that helps orphaned and underprivileged children in the Caribbean and around the world.
